Group Stops at the
Lightner Courtyard.

The Rambler is at Old Town Trolley Stop 10 — a shaded, historic courtyard that turns a scheduled pause into a genuine destination. We partner with tour operators to make the stop count.

Trolley Stop 10 12–300 pax 363-day weather 1888 architecture

The stop your
groups will
actually remember.

The Lightner Building — built in 1888 as Henry Flagler's Alcazar Hotel — sits on the National Register of Historic Places. Its courtyard is one of the few genuinely shaded outdoor gathering spaces in downtown St. Augustine, a city where shade is a competitive advantage from March through November.

The Rambler occupies Suite 120, directly facing the courtyard. We're visible from King Street and from the trolley stop. Restrooms are available inside the Lightner Museum — a meaningful logistic for groups, and a reason to linger.

Old Town Trolley Stop 10

Right at the corner of King & Cordova. No crossing, no navigation.

Shaded courtyard

Genuine shade from the 1888 Alcazar structure. Rare in downtown St. Augustine.

363-day weather

St. Augustine averages 233 sunny days per year. The outdoor program works almost every day.

Restrooms in Lightner

Museum restrooms are available and accessible — a logistics win for extended group stops.

Four formats for any route.

From a quick 15-minute hydration stop to a fully guided history pause with pre-ordered drinks — we structure the stop to fit your schedule and your guests.

  • No pre-order required for groups up to 30
  • Courtyard seating for the break
  • Full menu available at counter

02

Guided History Pause

  • Flagler & railroad era framing
  • Advance booking minimum: 48 hours
  • Menu selection submitted by operator in advance

School Field Trip

Flexible · Flagler history tie-in

  • Florida history curriculum connection
  • Age-appropriate menu options (non-espresso available)
  • Flagler College proximity for extended itineraries
